And you go WHAAT? Not in this hot and humid weather, surely, you say. We at YTX agree that you have a strong point. But consider the environmental impact. You'll be cutting down on gas emissions for one. Not to mention the health impact. Cycling will boost your cardiovascular endurance. At YTX, we're always hopeful that this practice of cycling to work will get picked up by at least some Malaysians. But, we haven't finished yet. We don't mean you have to cycle ALL THE WAY to work and back. Here are the reasons why you should consider a folding bike.

1. You can cycle to the train station nearest to your home, fold the bike once you enter the station, board the train and unfold the bike once you're out of the exit station. It may seem like a bother at first, but with practice, you'll get the hang of it.

2. What if you live far away from the train station and do not want to end up all sweaty once you reach the station? Maybe you can drive to the station and park there, take out your handy folding bike from the car and repeat No. 1. At least you don't have to walk all the way to the office.

3. What if it rains? Well, there's the rub, we can't offer any other solution than to wear a raincoat, which will turn out to be messy in the end anyway as you get splotched with all the water on your feet and ruining a perfectly good pair of shoes. Might we suggest you wear your worn-out running shoes instead when cycling in the rain and save the nice pair at the office?

4. And you say, "I don't want to cycle in the rain." So, you rather walk all the way from the train station to your office in the rain? Either way, you'll still get a little bit wet. You say, "Driving a car is still a lot better. You don't get wet at all." Well, have you noticed that when it rains, there's heavy traffic congestion. That's why so many people rather take the train. But, rather than walk from the station, you can cycle on your lil' handy folding bike.

5. A folding bike is too expensive, you say. Granted, YTX sells ones that are above RM1,000. But, we also have the cheapest. At just RM717, the 1607 Eco-Park Comp Folding Bike comes in white, red and celeste blue. Check them out on our Brand Street Page at Dinasou.com.
