Cycling can boost your mental health


You probably already know the effects that cycling has on your physical health. But did you know that your mental health will also be improved with a regular time aside for cycling? Dr Radha Modgi of the mental health charity MIND says that cycling will help lower levels of the 'stress hormone' cortisol, at the same time boost levels of endorphins and serotonin, which are neurotransmitters responsible for making you have that happy feeling. 

So, with this in mind, don't slack off when the time comes for that evening cycle, A regular exercise pattern not only keeps your body in shape, but also keeps your mind happy!
